Commissions for individual owners of homes, primary or vacation, have added greatly to the clients’ enjoyment of their properties and have been personally rewarding.  Most of these private commissions have been outdoor pieces executed in stainless steel or aluminum.

Six of the pieces shown below – OPEN WATER, NAUTICAL LILT, SEAWORTHY, OFF THE WIND, COUNTERPOINT and MEMORIES – grace the turnarounds, gardens or terraces of homes by the sea, and thus incorporate nautical motifs.

ARABESQUE, HELIX II, MAESTRO, and L'ESPRIT are mid-sized “garden sculptures” in country and suburban settings.

TERPSICHORE and SCHWEBEN, the smallest of the pieces, reflect the compact nature of urban patios.
